5 Money Saving Tips That Are Not Painful

First, let me say that this not rocket science or some new discovery. Saving money was always a discussion in my home when I was growing up. Maybe my parents were financial gurus and I didn’t know it.

My mother taught me this little saying:

“Pennies make nickels,

Nickels make dimes,

Dimes make dollars”

Today it just takes more nickels and dimes to make those dollars.

You may think these ideas are old fashioned, not sophisticated, or out of touch with our modern selfie taking, cell phone loving world.

But, don’t turn your nose up just yet.

If you work outside the home, you are tempted by the cafes and fancy coffee shops daily.

Think about how much money you spend on fancy coffee brands each week, times 4 weeks in a month. Can you do the math?

These coffee shops are already prospering. They will survive with out your dollars every day of your work week.
