Hi Ruby, There's also"Don't let the door hit you where the Good Lord split you!" I don't get it, why does anyone think we care if they're on Medium or not? There's so much good reading here, he won't be missed. Hear ye, hear ye!! Just go already. And make room for others. Thanks for pointing this out .
Shannon, It's so sweet that Sophie wants to learn to help you and cook. She will be benefited by learning. Your pictures are wonderful and everything looks delicious. She is so cute and looks happy. I hope you are feeling better.
You will eventually ease off on doing the familiar. There are so many words you won't say anymore. There are so many familiar sounds in the house--at first I kept hearing his footsteps on the stairs. The dog kept looking for him and finally gave up. Give yourself time to grieve on your own timeline and reflect on your love story. It is hard to adjust to a new life. Takes time. Take good care of yourself. Hugs.
Looking better and yes, progress is slow, but it is working. Taking care of your body is the utmost priority. You are getting better!! Take care of yourself and Sophie. Hugs!!!!!!!!
Such simple advice. Just do it!! Just write!!
Who knew this is the secret to success?
Thanks for pointing this out.
Such a scary story. I had mental images of you walking. I believe angels are everywhere. Frightening to think about what could have happened. Glad you are ok, but next time get a taxi and be familiar with the neighborhood. So many areas in the U.S. are sketchy.
