Free Dog to Good Home Only
Are you really giving your dog away to a “Good” home or is it a Death sentence?
So you think you need to give your dog away for whatever reason. You think that by placing an ad in the local paper that you will attract a kind, loving person to take your dog.
What do you know about the person that answers your ad? Don’t be fooled by a nice appearance or a nice story that they tell you.
Of course, your interest is in your pet and you think by giving it away, that you are doing it a favor.
What you may actually be doing, is giving it to someone that will sell it to a lab for research, breeding or worse yet, slaughter in the dog meat trade!
Are you horrified yet?
These types of ads are common place today. If you are giving away a child’s bike or swing set that has been outgrown, then that’s one thing.
But, if you are trying to give away a living creature, be it cat, dog, puppy, kitten, or horse then that’s another story.
Don’t sentence your pet to a Death Sentence.
Rather than run an ad in a local paper, why not call local veterinarians and ask them about help with placing your pet.
They usually have bulletin boards that you could post a picture on.
