I especially enjoyed your article as I used to have 2 Yorkies. One looked like Dagney. We took them everywhere and if they weren't welcome, we didn't go. We each had a Sherpa bag for them and took them into shops and grocery stores. We were putting them in their bags in a Walmart parking lot one day and when we entered the store, a manager came up to my husband and said "You're the man with a dog in a bag. Welcome." We were seen on the parking lot security camera. I have seen a couple on motorcycles with a Yorkie riding with goggles. Too cute!

I understand getting an RV for the comfort of your dog. We never left them with anyone. But we enjoyed their company so much we wanted to be with them. Dogs should never wear collars if they pull on the leash as it causes trachea issues. One of my Yorkie's had collapsing trachea and died from it one month before his 14th birthday. He was my first Yorkie baby. He weighed 5 lbs. He was born with that issue and also had slipping kneecaps. I love Yorkies and hope to have another one at some point in my life. One of them was quiet and not yappy, but the other one didn't like anybody new and would bark. My mother-in-law came for a 3 week visit and he sat outside the bathroom door and barked the whole time she was in the bathroom. Did not like her!

He was a very smart dog!

I love their personalities. I love Yorkie stories. Thanks for sharing your article and give Dagney a hug for me.

Happy Trails to you!
