I read this twice as so much of it could have been written by me.My eyes filled with tears, as I always say that if only we knew when the last magical moment was taking place. Life lets us take things for granted and then one day it slaps you in the face, with reality and sadness. Hold onto your memories, as there are hundreds of people that have never waded in a stream or eaten fresh berries from the vine or shucked corn in grandma's kitchen. Don't be ashamed of your accent. I hope to be able to move back "home", where I'm from, which is not where I live now. To the land of sweet Southern accents, where people are fixin' to do something, great Sunday brunches with Southern fried chicken! So many childhood memories. Thanks for sharing your memories with us. Y'all come back now, ya hear!
