I recently sold my house. The whole experience was grueling. Sometimes Realtors will manipulate you into only looking at their listings to gain more commission. They may not always put forth the effort to get an appointment for you. They may tell you that they are familiar with the listing that you want to see and they know of issues with it. True or false. To turn you off of the property. Press on. DO NOT believe everything they tell you. My agent tried to nudge me into more expensive properties because she was not fond of the town I selected. I found a property that had been overlooked for almost a year. It had been redone inside and out. Not in the HGTV ways, but very comfortable. I made an offer below list price and got it. I will never be underwater on the value here. Realtors are feeding the buyer frenzy, by pushing people. I hear the market is cooling. Depends on the area you are looking at, maybe look a little outside of where you would like to be. If the property doesn't appraise the seller may have to adjust the price or you may have to add a little more money. Depends on the bank. Small town banks might work easier with you. Don 't forget to look at mortgages thru a credit union. Mine was a breeze. They financed in house and it was very easy. There are many ways to buy a property. Keep trying. You must do your own due diligence. Search the internet real estate sites. You can look at properties with the listing realtor of the property. I listed my house in July 2020, it sold October 2020. The buyers agent was a total bitch. She didn't like the property and tried everything to get them to not buy it. She wanted to sell them something in a fancy little town for more money. THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY. But she kept pushing. She was horrible thru the whole process. My agent was very protective of me. You MUST beware of some realtors, because they lie to get more money. Some have made more money in the last year then they have ever made. I hope they are saving some, because this will not last forever! Selling is very difficult in good times and in bad. I sold because my husband passed and I could not manage. It was very hard, so if you are moving because you want to, keep looking. You will succeed.

Sorry, didn't mean to write a book, but felt like maybe my experience would help you. Take care and good luck on your house search!
