It is funny how time slips away. So much of our lives are spent doing mundane things or working or commuting to work. Or wasting our lives in relationships that were dead ends to begin with. At the end of the day, we should all look back to see what was worth while, that we spent hours out of our lives that we can’t get back. There are no do overs. This one life that you have been given is not a dress rehearsal.
It is easy to be filled with regret and it’s even easier to beat yourself up over mistakes of the past. The old world keeps on spinning, regardless.

The life I was living has been totally destroyed from the passing of my husband and now I am trying to forge ahead. But not sure how, as there is no room for mistakes in the later years.
