LK, This piece gave me a needed laugh, but also so MUCH truth. First, I hate the commercialism of Christmas. Even as a small child, I always felt a huge let down after Christmas. The big build up is unrealistic. Most of us don't live like a Hallmark movie. So, is that all there is.?

Virginity is tricky. Throwing it away on some useless guy is a big waste. Saving it for the perfect guy, well he may never come along. If you are lucky enough to have an assortment of boyfriends, then there may be one that is worthy. Like picking out a selection of dishes at a smorgasbord. Pick the best one. Then there is no guarantee that you will be enormously happy and satisfied.

I don't know anyone that had a sex talk with their mother. Mostly, don't do IT. Without explaining what IT was.

Yes it will hurt, that's why you don't waste it. After it's all over, you may wonder what happened. So is that all there is?

With some guys, it's the fastest two minutes (or less) in history. So hopefully you have a guy who is the one and the two of you can talk about your first time for years to come.(Don't want to be just a notch on his belt.)

If not, at least write down his name so as you get older you can remember who shared that special part of you!
