Mandy, this was a very touching story. I have mourned all my dogs. I have all them cremated and have a special shelf for them on display. Seven have passed away, all from old age and I still have 2. They are older, but aging gracefully.

I wish you would have elaborated on your injuries when you fell. How did you manage at night? Who helped you? That is a story in itself. I hope you are getting along okay. And I am so sorry that you can't have a dog now.
