Thanks for your comment Ruby. My husband left me with a lot of things to handle. He would never talk to me about what to do if he was no longer alive. And since he handled everything, I was left clueless. I kept hoping that I would find a note from him , hidden in his personal things, to advise me. I think men think they are indestructible and will always be around to take care of things. I sold the house, bought a smaller place, but still don't have my life together. It's important that women make plans to be alone. I found this out too late. Sorry for your friend. It's hard being in grief and dealing with all these stressful things. Some days just putting one foot in front of the other is the big accomplishment for the day!
