This is a great article. I have wanted to move for a few years, but my husband wasn't as interested. Now that I am a widow, I may start thinking about it again. There's so much to see in other parts of the world. You are right. You must adapt to new ways, otherwise stay in the U.S. I have considered Ecuador, Italy and Portugal.
