This is a great article and should be a handout at shelters when people come to adopt. I hate it when people who work 15 hours a day think it’s ok to stuff their dog in a crate, because”Oh well, He’ll sleep all day.” Some people are clueless idiots. What do they think dogs are? Windup toys to play with when you have time or if it’s convenient?

They contribute to over breeding because it’s cute and they want their kids to experience it. Some think it’s ok to adopt a dog from a shelter and then return it when it grows up, becomes unhealthy. I love people who use the excuse for getting rid of their companion that they have had for years that they are moving and the dog can’t go. What? Would you leave your kid behind? (Silly me, there are people that dump their kids!) Again great article!
