This is an everyday occurrence in U.S. It's a culture issue, America doesn't like anything old. Experience doesn't mean anything. Companies hire dimwits that are younger and work cheaper. Same thing happened to my husband and he hired an attorney for age discrimination. He died just as they were working on the case. We all get older and die. What goes around, comes around. Your husband needs to take his skills some where that will appreciate him.
