This lovely story brought tears to my eyes. I lost my little Shih Tzu last year and I still miss her terribly. She died in my arms and I have no idea what happened. The guilt for me is wondering what did I miss? How ill was she and I didn’t know it. She had been to the vet and nothing showed up. Thank you for writing about your wonderful companion.
