You are totally right. My husband received an itemized statement for his upcoming heart surgery. All together would have been over $300,000.

Health care is a joke. If there is so much interest in health, why are the prescription drugs being pushed on everyone? Let’s not forget that pain killers were prescribed by DOCTORS. They took an oath to help people, not harm them.

Then when you have addicts all over the place that become addicted to these PRESCRIBED pain killers , you can blame doctors. Yes, I know some people are drug users because they got hooked on street drugs. Experimenting has ruined countless lives. But sometimes DOCTORS are also drug pushers.

Does anyone listen to the commercials on TV about the side effects of these chemical poisons that are prescribed daily to unsuspecting people.

Why would anyone in their right mind take a drug that causes constipation, nausea, dehydration, infection of the perineum, swollen lips or throat, dizziness, possible cancers, possible strokes and on and on.

But the bigger question is , why are these “drugs” being made, knowing that they have dangerous side effects. One answer only and that is MONEY for corporate America. There is no heart or caring there.

People view the cutesy commercials about these drugs and see the scenery and people in them look like they’re having such fun and new adventures. They NEVER listen to the side effects.

So all the countries that we all laugh at have a much better health care system than we have. It’s all bottom line and for the stockholders.

It is a disgrace and will never change.

My husband doesn’t have to care about that enormous bill anymore. He died last week.
